Look like a million on a small budget

Are you ready to learn the power of dressing up and show the world that you can look like a million dollars on a shoestring budget?

Looking like a million dollar starts with you investing some time to understand who you are, and not what you see on the front of Vogue magazine. Never compare yourself with the man made image; you should never compare yourself with others, but always compare yourself to whom you are willing to be.

You are UNIQUE and special in so many different ways all you need to do is find your hidden assets, as you and I know we all have them but sadly we tend to focus on the negative rather than the positive aspects.

Give yourself some credit;

  • Concentrate on the good things from now on
  • Be yourself and be happy because you are unique and special
  • Look into the world with a positive attitude rather than negative
  • Count your blessings not your problems
  • Put your heart and soul and believe in you
  • Smile and the world will smile with you
  • Last but not least always remember how precious you are

Your personality and lifestyle

I know how hard it is to keep up with fashion now days and to be current in style on a small budget; it is very challenging but achievable.

Maintaining a wardrobe to look like a million dollars needs some knowledge of how to be stylish, and not to fall in to the tricks that you have seen on the front page of a Vogue magazine, by comparing yourself with the painted picture “the image” or shall I say the man-made image which is driving us to be so critical about the way we look.

So don’t be so hard on yourself, all these images are not real, they are all being touched up in so many different ways and forms by making them look taller, slimmer, and even giving them that flawless look. Let’s be honest this image is there for one reason and one reason only to manipulate us all to buying their product.

What you need to know is to understand your figure Shape and the right way of dressing it.

There are 6 different shapes:

  • Hourglass
The Hourglass figure is considered to be the best figures to work with because it is easy to dress
  • Triangle
The Triangle figure is the most common figure shape among women. They have the narrow shoulders or the small bust
  • Inverted triangle
The Inverted Triangle figure has the broad shoulders or the full bust, and carries the weight mostly above the waist.
  • Rectangle
The Rectangle figure is one of the most common body shapes has no waist line. Rectangle figures could be lanky thin or big.
  • Diamond
The Diamond figure is the one with a large midriff roll or a stomach which protrudes from under the bust line.
  • Oval
The Oval figure or the fuller figure as some call it is the figure that carries weight all over with a rounded appearance.

Having a small frame, medium or large will influence the way you look.

After knowing your figure and scale you need to look at your hair style, is it right for your face shape is it complementing you or taking away from you looking good.

Your make-up should be current and updated in the right shades to make your face sparkle, or are you wearing the wrong colors that are draining you out making you look sick and showing every line.

Is the outfit you are wearing highlighting and complimenting your assets and hiding away your imperfections.

The right fit, I can not stress enough how important the fit is. If you buy two outfits one is a houte couture without fitting it properly on your figure, a second outfit bought from a very economical shop but fitted to your figure, I can guarantee you that the second will look like a million dollar outfit.
